Your data, in plain words.
When you book online, we store your name, your phone number and, if you give it, your email address and your note for the barber. If you ask to be notified when a spot opens up, we keep your first name and email for that day only.
What it is used for
- Keeping the shop’s diary and welcoming you at the agreed time.
- Sending you the confirmation, the reminder the day before and, if needed, a message if something comes up.
- Letting you know if a spot opens up on the day you asked for (waiting list).
- Thanking you after your visit, at most once a month, with a link to leave a review and another to book again.
- Calling you if the appointment has to be moved.
- Remembering your haircut preferences, noted by the barber, and your loyalty card if the shop offers one.
Nothing else: no advertising, no reselling, no newsletter.
How long
Appointments are deleted automatically one year after their date. Waiting-list sign-ups are deleted as soon as the day has passed.
Where it is stored
On the website’s server, hosted by OVHcloud in Europe, with a weekly backup copy sent to the shop’s mailbox. The website sets no cookies at all. It counts its visits anonymously (the page viewed and the site the visitor came from, without IP address or identifier). Your browser may keep your details to pre-fill your next booking: they stay on your device.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, at the shop or on +32 485 69 52 53. You can also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
